Bayern pressing hard to sign Osimhen for €120m

By Daily Sports Nigeria on March 30, 2023

Following an amazing season with Napoli, so much so that he is considered one of the best strikers in the world, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are “pressing very hard” to sign Nigeria international Victor Osimhen.

The striker’s brilliant season with Napoli has attracted interests from top clubs in Europe, with Premier League sides Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and LaLiga giants Real Madrid all keen on signing the Nigerian.

The 24-year-old has taken Italian football by storm to become one of the most prolific strikers in Europe, pushing Napoli in their Scudetto chase and seeing them through multiple tests this season.

The former VfL Wolfsburg man has scored 25 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions to help Luciano Spalletti’s side sit 21 points clear in the Serie A table and reach the Champions League quarter-finals.

The Partenopei are now just 15 points away from winning their first Scudetto since 1990.

According to reports in Italian media as reported by TuttoSport, the Bavarians are ready to snatch Osimhen away from Aurelio De Laurentiis and have reportedly opened discussion with Napoli on a potential deal worth €120m plus bonuses.

“Bayern Munich are pressing very hard on the Nigerian attacker, willing to go crazy.”

The position of Aurelio De Laurentiis is clear on the valuation of Osimhen and it is unlikely that Napoli will sell the Super Eagles striker for a lower figure, as the Little Donkeys have placed a £150m price tag on their star striker this summer.
