The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Lagos chapter, will play host to the governorship candidate of Labour Party (LP) in Lagos State, Arch. Gbadebo Patrick Rhodes-Vivour on Thursday 19th January 2023.
Rhodes-Vivour will be meeting the sports writers to discuss what he has in stock for the people of the state in the area of sports development ahead of the gubernatorial election which holds on 11th March, 2023
The meeting is part of the contribution of Lagos SWAN to give every governorship candidate of all the political parties in Lagos State a professional platform like Lagos SWAN to present their manifesto on sports to Lagosians.
The event is scheduled to hold at the SWAN Secretariat inside the National Stadium in Surulere from 1:30pm.
Chairman of the Executive Committee of Lagos SWAN, Olatutu Oladunni, said in a press statement on Monday said that Lagos SWAN has reached out to all the governorship candidates in Lagos, adding that after the hosting of Labour Party candidate, a new date will be announced for the hosting of another governorship candidate by the association.
Oladunni also revealed that a press conference that will be addressed by her alongside other elected executives of Lagos'SWAN will hold shortly before the meeting with the Labour Party governorship candidate on that same Thursday.
