LMC names 32 for La Liga tour

Sunshine Stars’ Dayo Ojo, Enyimba’s Chinedu Udoji are among the 32 players shortlisted by the League Management Company for further screening to make up the Nigeria Professional Football League All Stars squad for the La Liga Tour billed for August.

The squad picked by a poll of coaches in the Nigeria elite division will see the lucky 22 man squad for a pre-season tour in Spain where they will face Valencia CF and also feature in the Carranza La Liga World Club Tournament in Malaga CF between August 12 and 13, 2016.

In a letter signed by Salihu Abubakar, the Chief Operating Officer of the LMC, the invited players are to report for the first phase of camping that will span from July 11 -18. The second and final phase of the camping will open on August 1 leading to the team’s departure on August 8.
