Alex Iwobi was an ever-present star for Everton as they achieved Premier League safety with a match to spare.
Iwobi, whose form and confidence has been clear as day, played a pivotal role for the Toffees in their quest to stay among the big boys.
Deployed in a variety of positions, Iwobi starred and delivered on most days and was a different type of player under Frank Lampard.
On Wednesday, the Everton star tweeted “We Made It, Hallelujah!” as he still basks in the joy of the achievement.
Iwobi is currently with the Super Eagles where he hopes to gradually earn his place back in the team after losing it under Gernot Rohr and Austin Eguavoen.
Wirh his Everton form and his newly-found confidence helping him to better performances, his outing against Mexico proves he’s ready for the haul.
Everton fans also hailed the midfielder for how he turned things around at the club and for himself and his desire to play everywhere he’s asked to.
