Ikorodu United have confirmed the appointment of former Dutch international Theodorus Jacob de Jong.
The former Rod JC and Feyenoord midfielder, who had previous managerial experience at FC Zwolle, SC Cambuur and Willem II has signed a contract at the Onikan Stadium.
The announcement follows the departure of previous coach Sam Okpodu on June 13, and an officially unveiling in expected later this week.
The 68-year-old tactician would be hoping to rescue the Oga Boys from relegation with just 15 points from 15 games to stay at the base of the NPFL log.
