Zamalek mock Enyimba

By Daily Sports on June 20, 2016

Zamalek have made a mockery of Enyimba following their 1-0 slump at the Adokie Amesiamaka Stadium, Port Harcourt in their CAF Champions League opener.

Bassem Morsy’s seventh minute header gave the White Knights a crucial away win in the game marred by heavy rain.

Although the People’s Elephants put in their best to level up and probably secure a win, goalkeeper Mohammed El-Shennawy’s heroics and the waterlogged pitch did not help Paul Aigbogun’s men.

Shortly after the win, Zamalek posted a Graphics Interchange Format video on Twitter to scorn the Nigerian side.

The video is that of an Elephant struggling in a waterlogged ground with the caption: “Some rain might affect elephants, but definitely not Knights.”

The defeat ensure Aigbogun’s men are third on the log while Zamalek are second in Group B with three points behind Mamelodi Sundowns who have a superior goals difference.

Enyimba face the Brazilians in their next game on June 29 at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
