Kano Pillars have released 10 players on medical grounds and declining productivity.
According to Pillars spokesman Idris Malikawa, the Kano club, who registered 33 players last season, took the decision to place the players on transfer after a management meeting deliberated on last season’s technical report.
“The club have now begun negotiations with some players who will replace those put on transfer,” he announced.
Malikawa further said that a good number of the players from last season have resumed training in Kano, while the new signings are expected to join up shortly. (mtnfootball.com)
