Makinde, Okocha Score As Atiku, Obaseki, Akeredolu, Other Dignitaries Storm Remodelled Lekan Salami Sports Complex

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde scored an opening goal against the ex-Super Eagles players in a novelty match held at Lekan Salami Sports Complex.

Governor Makinde was paired along with the ex-3SC FC Stars in a novelty match that was organized for the commissioning purpose of the remodelled Lekan Salami Sports Complex Adamasingba Ibadan, the Capital City of Oyo State.

Makinde scored the first goal of the match through a penalty at the 5th minute of the game.

Some of the star players of the match are Austin Jay Jay Okocha, Victor Ikpeba, Taribo West, Victor Agali, Austin Eguafon, Tijani Babangida, Peter Rufai, Ike Sorunmu, Mutiu Adepoju, Dauda Lawal among others.

Makinde led the likes of Kabiru Alausa, Yomi Adigun, Kola Ige, and others in a ex- 3SC players line up.

Governor Makinde’s goal was levelled with a penalty scored by Austin Jay Jay Okocha in the 15th minutes of the match.

Governor Makinde earlier before the match officially commissioned the sports complex with the help of some dignitaries present at the stadium. (Daily Independent)
