PSG Eyeing Salah To Replace Mbappe

By Daily sports on May 7, 2021

PSG have added Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah to their summer shopping list.

With just over a year to run on his PSG deal, Kylian Mbappe could be on the move this summer, with Real Madrid his expected destination.

And should he be sold, Le Parisien says the man PSG wish to replace Mbappe with is Salah.

At 29, the Egyptian, who has been at Liverpool for four years, wants to leave the Reds and PSG sports chief Leonardo and president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi have always rated Salah highly.

The main dreams of the Parisian directors have always been Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, but the possible renewal of the Argentine by Barcelona and the uncertain Juventus future of the Portuguese star have forced PSG to move in another direction.

Salah’s arrival would be a perfect fit for Paris, where coach Mauricio Pochettino has always wanted to work with pacy forwards who contribute in their defensive tasks. The former Fiorentina striker is a player who meets all the requirements of the Argentine coach.

PSG expect Liverpool to seek €80m to sell Salah this summer. (Tribal Football)
