NLO: Messiah FC Coach, Dosu David Talks Tough Ahead Of Valiant Clash

Messiah FC lost 2-1 to Tradesports FC in the ongoing 2021 Nationwide League One season.

Tradesports opened the scoring against the run of play when Messiah FC defenders were caught napping in the 10th minute.

Messiah FC gradually grew into the game but they were unable to find the breakthrough.

Few minutes later, Tradesports increased their lead following another defensive mix up by Messiah FC defenders.

Dosu David made an early change in the first half, when he brought on Tunde Baruwa for Thoeeb Lawal.

The first half ended 2-0 in favor of Tradesports FC.

Messiah FC Improved after the restart with more urgency of play.

Deji Alo reduced the deficit when he lashed on to a sublime pass from substitute, Tunde Baruwa to beat Tradesports’ goalkeeper.

Deji Alo was in an inspired form he was too hot to handle for Tradesports defenders, he won a late penalty for Messiah FC.

Ibrahim Adigun missed from the spot as Tradesports FC held on to earn a 2-1 victory.

Messiah FC Coach, Dosu David was critical of the team performance after suffering their third loss of the season in the NLO.

“I’m not happy with today’s performance at all, we spoke about the match on how important it is to us but the players did not play to instructions.”

“We will be going all out for victory against Valiant FC to get back on track.”

Messiah FC will be back in action in the Nationwide League One on Friday with a clash against Valiant FC.
