Barely 24 hours ago, two candidates whose name were not disclosed yet have stpped down for Amaju Pinnick as the election date draws nearer.
The present NFF President who is one of the contestants for the only available Africa seat on the FIFA Executive Council committee have traveled to over 30 Africa countries to campaign for the soul aim of 'Think Africa' according to him.
Amaju Melvin Pinnick's dream is to ensure that Africa has a formidable voice in world football.
The Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports Development spoke with one of the candidates yesterday to ensure that the backing that the FG pledged to Amaju Pinnick is not in doubt as the candidate stepped down immediately.
It is highly commendable to know that FIFA as the body that oversees World football is trying as much as possible to ensure that the election is free and fair.
With this latest development, Amaju Pinnick is gradually becoming the favourite to win the election.
