Tuchel Confirms Thiago Silva, Abraham Out For Liverpool

By Daily sports on March 4, 2021

Thomas Tuchel has confirmed Thiago Silva and Tammy Abraham will miss Thursday's trip to Liverpool.

Silva, 36, has been sidelined since suffering a thigh injury in the win over Tottenham Hotspur on February 4.

Abraham injured his ankle this week, but Tuchel says Callum Hudson-Odoi is available after coming off at half-time against Manchester United.

“Callum is no issue at all; he was training fully with the team yesterday,” Tuchel told reporters.

“Thiago made his first training with the team but did not finish the last exercise – not due to any pain or anything, just to be aware of not taking a risk.

“I assume he is in training today but he is not at 100 per cent, so he will not join the squad for Liverpool. Tammy had some problems yesterday on the ankle again, so let's see how this works out.” (Tribal Football)
