Edinson Cavani wants to extend his contract with Manchester United, regardless of what happens in the remainder of the 2021/22 season.
The Uruguayan has proved his worth to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, scoring seven goals and acting as a focal point in the number nine role.
United have a one-year option to extend Cavani's contract.
And The Telegraph says the 34-year-old hopes to remain at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer has publicly praised Cavani for his performances and influence on the United dressing room.
Likewise, a number of United players, including youngster Mason Greenwood, has lauded Cavani for his veteran guidance. (Tribal Football)
