Havertz Regrets Choosing Boring Chelsea Over Bayern Munich

Kai Havertz is regretting his move from Bayer Leverkusen to Chelsea this season.

That’s according to BILD columnist Raimund Hinko.

Havertz, just like other major signings like Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, has yet to shine at Stamford Bridge and that has led to some intense speculation in Germany.

Hinko believes Havertz may be regretting turning down Bayern Munich for Chelsea last summer.

Hinko wrote: “Kai Havertz, even if he doesn’t trumpet it out loud, will have cursed it a hundred times that he switched from [Bayer] Leverkusen to the midfield of boring club FC Chelsea and followed the call of the money.

“Havertz will have bitten his ass often enough not to reciprocate Bayern's interest more violently as long as coach Hansi Flick was still interested in him.” (Tribal Football)
