Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has declared Lionel Messi irreplaceable.
Koeman was asked about the fact Messi (642 Barça goals) is on the cusp of leveling Pele (643 goals for Santos) as the player to have scored the most goals for one club.
“The numbers are impressive,” Koeman said.
“I don’t know how many hat-tricks he’s scored... once again, it’s incredible everything he had done for this club.”
And the Dutch coach added: “We’re not going to have another player at this club who is so effective, for that reason he’s the No.1.” (Tribal Football)
