Chelsea manager Frank Lampard organised a meeting with star player N’Golo Kante regarding his future.
The French midfielder was reportedly considering moving away from the club in the coming months.
Kante is almost 30 and may want a new challenge.
And according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Lampard and Kante met to discuss the defensive midfielder's future.
Lampard informed Kante that he wanted him to stay and sees him as vital to his plans, according to Romano's Here We Go podcast.
Real Madrid and Inter Milan have both been linked with the World Cup winner. (Tribal Football)
