Nigeria Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung has given the Nigeria Football Federation some conditions to fulfil before employing a foreign technical adviser.
The sports ministry boss met with the football house chiefs to fashion a roadmap for the country’s football in the wake of the Super Eagles’ failure to qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations billed for Gabon.
Dalung reeled out the terms for hiring an expatriate tactician at a meeting held at the National Stadium Abuja.
Aside from convincing the sports ministry on the capability of the foreign to avoid a repeat of the Sunday Oliseh’s experience, Amaju Pinnick’s board must be ready to pay the tactician.
“The issue of a foreign coach was debated extensively but it was still refers to the technical committee alongside the NFF to show cost why the option of a foreign coach is viable.” Dalung said.
“And if it is indeed viable where we get the source to fund it.” (goal.com)
