Left back Ubong Williams, who signed a new two-year deal with the club in January, is said to be among those cut off as well as impressive midfielder Oghenetega Ebetomame, who joined the club last year from FC Ifeanyiubah.
Other players on the chopping list include James Odeh and utility star Omini Somtochukwu while striker Atilola Abdulsalami is said to be interesting Warri Wolves.
Meanwhile, the Warriors have confirmed the acquisition of eight players including goalkeepers Vincent Edafe and Olorunleke Ojo, who joined from Dakkada and Sunshine Stars respectively.
Two former Enyimba stars Markson Ojobo and Nzube Anaezemba, who both won the league with the People’s Elephant in 2015, have also joined Amapakabo in Umuahia while former league top scorer Godwin Obaje has equally ended his short stint abroad by joining Warriors.
Two relatively unknown youngsters Mustapha Jubreel and Dennis Kingsley have also joined the team as well as centre back Ibukun Harrison from Dakkada.
