Fifa Forward Goal Project Contract Signed In Abuja

The contract for the FIFA Forward Goal Project to be sited at Ugborodo-Escsrvos in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State was signed on Tuesday at the NFF Secretariat in Abuja. FIFA Forward Goal Project Manager Charity Kadiri signed on behalf of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) while the CEO of Monimichell Sports, Mr Ebi Egbe, signed on behalf of the contractors.

Kadiri, speaking on behalf of NFF President Amaju Pinnick, stated that the choice of Ugborodo-Escsrvos for the project was meant to take development of football to the creeks of the Niger Delta region.

He assured the contractors of both FIFA and NFF readiness to provide the necessary logistics and support to actualise the completion of the project.

Ebi Egbe, on his part, thanked the soccer federation and assured that his company is fully dedicated to the FIFA Forward Goal Project while promising to deliver on the scheduled date.

The FIFA Forward Goal Project is an initiative of the Football World Governing to promote the game at the grassroots level with a modest standard playing pitch.
