Manchester United are in advanced talks for Real Madrid fullback Sergio Reguilon.
AS says United are now favourites to land the Spain international, who will arrive as competition for England international left-back Luke Shaw.
It’s claimed United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Reguilon and Shaw as his two senior options at left-back, with Brandon Williams to move to the right and compete with Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
For the moment, the one stumbling block in negotiations is Real’s demand that a buy-back clause be included in the agreement.
Reguilon won the Europa League last season with Sevilla, though his former loan club do not have the spending power to compete with United for his transfer.
