Manchester City To Reignite Koulibaly Interest

By Daily sports on August 21, 2020

Manchester City are reportedly ready to relaunch their interest in Senegal international Kalidou Koulibaly.

According to Italian outlet La Repubblica as reported by talkSPORT, the English Premier League club have reignted their interest in the Napoli centre-back.

Koulibaly has been heavily tipped with a move away from the Serie A club over recent months. Manchester United were said to be keen on signing him last year, but a move failed to materialize and their crosstown rivals are now in pole position to land the 29-year-old.

Napoli reportedly value Koulibaly at £81 million, but City aren’t willing to offer more than £63 million for the towering defender.

Koulibaly joined Napoli from KRC Genk six years ago. In his time at Stadio Olimpico, he has established himself as one of the world’s best defenders.

In total, he has scored 10 goals in 246 appearances for Napoli. (African Football)
