Arsene Wenger had named Nwankwo Kanu as a substitute for their legends game with AC Milan, but that didn’t stop the Nigerian from sneaking onto the pitch to try and start. In true Kanu style, though, he still ensured he stamped his mark from the game, even from the bench, as he struck a hat-trick in a 4-2 win to prompt chants of 'sign him up.
Meanwhile, Jack Wilshere showed the sea air is already rejuvenating his sullen career as he put in a stellar Bournemouth debut performance – against a team he rejected to complete his surprise loan move from Arsenal. England star Wilshere looked a class above his new team-mates in his 45 minute cameo – causing AC Milan headaches at the Vitality Stadium. (Dailmail.co.uk)
