Liverpool Hierarchy Baffled By Mane Transfer Rumours

By Daily Sports on April 3, 2020

Liverpool chiefs are said to be baffled by rumours linking Sadio Mane with a move to Real Madrid.

According to The Athletic, as per the Mirror, the Reds hierarchy has no intentions of selling the Senegal international whose current deal at the club runs until June 2023.

The 27-year-old has taken his game to a whole new level at Anfield and played a crucial role in the club’s UEFA Champions League win last season.

Real head coach Zinedine Zidane is a known admirer of the Liverpool attacker, but Liverpool remain bemused at any reports linking both Mane and fellow African Mohamed Salah with a move away from the club in the foreseeable future.

Mane, who is the current African Player of the Year, has scored 18 goals and assisted a further 12 in 38 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool this season.

In total, the former Southampton man has scored 77 goals in 161 games for the Reds since joining the club four years ago. (African Football)
