Nigeria’s second representatives in the CAF Champions League, Warri Wolves FC, yesterday walked over their opponents Praia Cruz from Sao Tome and Principe, who failed to show up for the first leg in Warri.
The Wolves “await confirmation from CAF of its progress to the second round,” the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) said in a story on its official website.
Nigeria’s other representatives, Enyimba FC of Aba, had lost 0-1 to Vipers FC of Uganda in Kampala on Friday, in a first round, first leg match.
