Tottenham To Make Move For Ebere Eze

By Daily Sports on December 21, 2019

Tottenham Hotspur will make a move for Nigerian midfielder Ebere Eze, according to reports.

The Queens Park Rangers star has been a revelation in the English Championship this season with nine goals in 22 starts and is regarded as one of the hottest properties in the country’s second-tier.

Tottenham are looking to steal a march on their Premier League rivals by securing the signature of the 21-year-old, who is also an England junior international.

His performances have piqued the interest of the Nigeria Football Federation, who have met with the player to discuss his international future.

NFF president Amaju Pinnick confirmed earlier this month that he spoke to the player and his family.

“We need to make a solid representation at Qatar 2022 and it starts with improving on your squad with quality players like Eze,” Pinnick told the BBC.

“Can you imagine a midfield with Ndidi, Aribo, Etebo and Eze? It is one that will improve our squad.

“I had a positive meeting with Ebere Eze in London and I spoke to his parents as well.” (African Football)
