Sokebolou, Yokiri For Final Of Godspenal International Football Tournament Today Obaseki Anthony, Warri

The final of this year’s Godspenal International Football Tournament will come up today, Saturday, 2/11/2019, at Youbebe town, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

According to the sponsor of the annual tournament, Apostle Dr Godspower Tomone, this year’s tournament was great and the final will be super going by what the teams played before the final.

“You see, the aim of the tournament to engage the youth in Burutu local government is a good development and talents are being discovered.

“The tournament has 18 teams that registered and today, Saturday, two teams are playing in the final Sokebolou FC and Yokiri FC,” he said.

The organiser of the tournament, Coach Oliver Igwe, noted that the tournament has four groups with two teams moving into the quarter-finals.

Yokiri topped Group C while Sokebolou topped Group D with both moving to semi-final after Yokiri FC defeated Burutu United and Sokebolou FC defeated Talented Boys FC to reach the semi-final.

Sokebolou FC defeated Island FC in the semi-final and Yokiri FC defeated Eluwe FC which led both teams to today’s final.

Players discovered here are going for the 12th Utuama Peace Cup coming up soon in Otu Jeremi.

“We are happy with the tournament we look for the final on Saturday 2/11/2019 here in Burutu,” Igwe said, advising all sports lovers to be in Burutu for today’s final.
