Mohamed Salah has won another award, clinching Liverpool’s Goal of the Month award for August.
The Egypt international has become a regular recipient of the accolade since joining the Reds from AS Roma two years ago. To date, Salah has scored an incredible 74 goals in 110 games for the club.
Salah scored a brace in the club’s 3-1 win over Arsenal last month, with his second – a superb individual effort – clinching the Goal of the Month award.
The 27-year-old’s goal versus Norwich City in the season opener finished third while two Sadio Mane strikes came in at second and fourth respectively.
Salah has scored three goals in six games this season, as he sets his sights on a third straight golden boot award; after finishing tied first with fellow Africans Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang atop the English Premier League scoring charts last season.
