Nigeria international midfielder Uche Agbo will spend the remainder of the season with Portuguese top-flight side sporting Braga after being snapped up on loan from Belgian outfit Standard Liege.
It is the second successive season in which the 23-year-old has been sent on loan after he made six appearances for Spanish LaLiga side Rayo Vallecano in the second half of the campaign as they were relegated.
He has also previously had two loan spells with Spanish side Grenada in a career that has yet to take off as he might have hoped.
Aside from Standard, Agbo has also been on the books of Italian club Udinese and English Premier League Watford, but without playing a single game for them.
He will hope his season in Portugal allows him to secure a regular place in the side and showcase his qualities on a big Europe stage.
He did feature for Standard in 57 matches in all competitions in his 18 months at Standard, including in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League. (African Football)
