Ejidike Congratulates Victorious D’Tigress

Nigeria’s Pillar of Sports, High Chief Donatus Agu-Ejidike, JP, has congratulated the national female basketball team D’Tigress on its victory over host Senegal in the final of the AfroBasketball championship held in Dakar.

Ejidike in a statement released by his office expressed his happiness over the feat of the Nigerian ladies to retain the crown with a 60-55 score.

“I am sincerely glad with the feat of our ladies. They have once again proven to be the best in the continent by beating Senegal to win the title back to back,” Ejidike remarked.

The renowned sports philanthropist and  board member of Karate Federation of Nigeria went on to describe the feat of D’Tigress as a testimonial of the can-do spirit of the average Nigerian person.

“Once again, our ladies have shown that with concerted efforts and encouragement by government and sports stakeholders, our athletes can rule the world,” Ejidike added.
