My Love for Enyimba Remains Forever — Uduma Jennifer

By Anthony Obaseki on August 6, 2019

“My love for football is natural and I derive so much passion when I watch football.”

These are the words of an ardent supporter of Enyimba International Football Club of Aba,  Jennifer Ezinne Uduma, a third year student of Abia State University Uturu (ABSU), Abia State. Jennifer, who is studying Food Science and Technology, is an indigene of Etitiama Nkporo in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State.

She recently told Daily Sports Nigeria: “I started watching football as a kid and the passion for the game of football was natural; apart from my academic pursuit football is part of me.

“I started following Enyimba International Football Club of Aba as a kid in the year 2003 and the love for my darling team is topmost in my heart. I was born in the commercial city of Aba, so it is normal for me to adopt Enyimba International Football Club as my favourite team.”

On why she is supporting Enyimba, Jennifer said: “Anywhere you mention Nigeria and Africa club football the name of Enyimba International Football Club will be mentioned. Having won the CAF Champions League twice back to back and being the only club in Nigeria to achieve such feat is enough to make someone admire the club. They also play good football.”

Enyimba International is the current champion of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) and will compete in the CAF Champions League next season.
