Home-Base Eagles striker Ibrahim Yuga Mustapha has left Enyimba International FC of Aba after opting not to renew his contract with the club.
The 22-year-old joined Enyimba in 2017 from El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri where he was a big hit, scoring goals for fun in his four years at the club.
Mustapha went on to make 42 appearances for Enyimba along with scoring 15 times.
He left on good terms and even wished his erstwhile club all the best next season.
“I’ve left Enyimba. My contract with the club ended this past season and I think is the best time for me to leave the club and I wish them all the best in the coming season,” the player said.
Enyimba recently won the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) for the eighth time, making them the highest winners of the Nigerian league.
