The management of Delta Force Football Club of Asaba has appointed the Chief Coach of the club, Mr. Mangut Mbwas Ayuba, as the Acting Technical Adviser of the team following the departure of the former Technical Adviser Mr. Emmanuel Deutsch.

Announcing the appointment, the Secretary of the Club, Mr. Sylvester Okobi, who spoke on behalf of the club’s chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Chidi-Okonkwo, said the management was pleased to elevate him to the head of the technical crew and urged him to bring his wealth of experience to bear in the new position.

He also called on the other members of the Technical crew to throw their weight behind the new man at the helm of the technical crew as that was the only way the club would be able to achieve its set mandate which is to remain in the top flight of Nigerian football.

The Media Officer of the Club, Mr. Jude Agbeyeke, reports that the Chairman of the club wished the former Technical Adviser, Mr Emmanuel Deutsch well in his future engagements saying the club greatly missed him but was confident he had worked with capable lieutenants who also gave their quota towards taking the club to a safe position on the NPFL Group B table.

Mr. Mangut is his response assured that the Technical Crew would continue from where his predecessor had stopped stressing that they had a smooth working relationship with Mr. Deutsch whom they greatly missed.

He also called on the players to remain focused on the job at hand as they prepare for a crunch tie against third placed Ifeanyi Ubah Football Club of Nnewi at the Ifeanyi Ubah Stadium Nnewi on Sunday saying they must be ready to give their all against one of the top teams in the NPFL Group B.
