Former Chairman of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Chief Victor Rumson Baribote, has showered praises on the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick, for awarding the FIFA Goal Project to be constructed in Ogborodo, Warri South Local Government Area, to sports facility construction giant, Monimichelle Sports.

The seasoned football administrator made his feelings known on Nigeria’s foremost sports WhatsApp platform, Nigeria Sports Mouthpiece (NSM), saying that the Pinnick-led NFF deserves accolades for looking inwards and selecting a man from the Niger Delta to execute the project.

He wrote: “I want to use this medium to thank NFF President, Mr Amaju Pinnick, for a job well done at least people have been awarding these contracts to foreign companies not just a Nigerian but our own brother from the South South in Bayelsa State Monimichelle for that FIFA project in Delta State, I really commend him.

“It is not all about criticising when you have done badly, but also commend you when you have done a great job I think in this aspect Mr Pinnick have done well, we are proud of that at least things are coming to the Niger Delta, Nigeria so I really commend him for this great feat.”

It would be recalled that Monimichelle Sports Facility renovated stadia like Enyimba International Stadium, Abia State, Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Onikan Stadium Lagos amongst others.
