Swedish Allsvenskan side IFK Göteborg have reported via their official website that they have completed the signing of promising Nigerian midfielder Alhassan Yusuf following a successful trial.
The 18-year-old has appended his signature to a two-year deal with the 18-time Swedish champions, with an option for another two years.
''We are very pleased that he has chosen us in competition with several other clubs," says sports director Mats Gren.
''He has been with us for a couple of months and really has shown the capacity and talent that exists.
''He is very good on the ball, we have great hopes for the future of Alhassan.''
A product of Nigerian Academy Tiki Taka Football, Alhassan will play with the number 28 jersey for the remainder of the 2018 season.
He is unlikely to make his competitive debut in Saturday's league match with Brommapojkarna because he is still processing his papers. (All Nigeria Soccer)
