Usain Bolt, the fastest man in the world, attended on Friday a training session of German football heavyweights Borussia Dortmund.
Some 1,400 spectators watched the training which the 31-year-old Jamaican athlete joined.
Usain Bolt, the fastest man in the world, attended on Friday a training session of German football heavyweights Borussia Dortmund.
Some 1,400 spectators watched the training which the 31-year-old Jamaican athlete joined.
Warming up and sprinting with Dortmund players, Bolt made passing drills with midfielder Mario Gotze and Turkish footballer Nuri Sahin.
In addition Bolt, playing as a forward in the training match, scored two goals: one from a penalty kick and another header.
After the training Bolt gave autographs to fans.
Team manager Peter Stoger praised Bolt.
Borussia Dortmund on Twitter quoted Bolt as saying: “It was good! I had fun with the guys, they were very welcoming.”
The sprinter has won nine Olympic gold medals. He announced retirement after world championships last year.
