Latifu returns to Norway, delighted to sign for Sogndal

Akeem Latifu has said that he is delighted to return to Norway after he signed a two-year contract at second division side Sogndal.

The former Hodd right back, accompanied by his agent Atta Aneke, signed the dotted lines earlier in the day to end his club no show following the termination of his contract at Hungarian side FC Honved last November.

“It’s nice to be back in the game after leaving Hungary,” Latifu told scorenigeria.com.ng

“I’m looking forward to getting into the game when the league starts next month.

“It’s also great to be with my family and I hope to achieve something at the end of the season with my new club.”

Last season, Sogndal were relegated from the top flight.

The Port Harcourt-born star had previously played for Stromgodset and Aalesund as well as  in Ukraine, Turkey and Azerbaijan.
