Home Eagles captain Ikechukwu Ezenwa feels that the team is not under pressure going into their crucial game against Libya on Friday at the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco.
Ezenwa noted that the team have put behind them their opening day 0-0 draw with Rwanda and are confident they can record their first win of the competition at the expense of Group C leaders Libya.
Libya defeated Equatorial Guinea 3-0 in their opening fixture on Monday.
“It’s a thing of the past but we need to fix the present which is the game against Libya. The coach has spoken to the team ahead of the game and we are not under any pressure,” Ezenwa said during the pre-match conference on Thursday.
“We just have to be focused,” he said. (Completesportsnigeria)
