Chelsea set to be fired into next round

By Daily Sports on November 22, 2017

Chelsea are in Azerbaijan ahead of their Champions League showdown with Qarabag.

The Blues were put through their paces at the Bakcell Arena by Antonio Conte Tuesday, as they gear up for a crucial Group C fixture.

Having lost 3-0 to Roma last time out, Chelsea were knocked off top spot and if they don’t win in Azerbaijan they could come under pressure from Atletico Madrid.

Hazard Chelsea will qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League if they beat Qarabag. Atletico were surprisingly held to draws in both matches against Qarabag but if they beat Roma at home, they will still be in with a chance of qualifying – ahead of a matchday six showdown with the Blues at Stamford Bridge.

David Luiz is back in the mix for Chelsea following his brief exile by Conte, and star men such as Alvaro Morata, Eden Hazard, Willian and Pedro were all pictured training.
