Coach Abdullahi Usman Biffo has promised to surpass Katsina United past performances in the Nigerian top-flight.
The former Abia Warriors and Niger Tornadoes manager was unveiled to the public in Katsina on Wednesday by the management as the technical adviser of the Changi Boys for the next two seasons.
Biffo said the Katsina landlords have in abundance the required facilities that thrill him as a young coach to perform to great heights.
“I have known quite well the team, Katsina United right from my days at Giwa FC of Jos.
“The side have the best facility and structure in the land for the training of upcoming players.
“The team encourage youth empowerment and programme and I will like to be part of its success.
“Instantly, I felt loved and wanted those are the factors I always look up to succeed in my assignment so I will give the job my very best.
“Shockingly, there was no pressure or talk for me to win the league shield in the upcoming league season.
“There was nothing of such demand on me but I have taken it upon myself to surpass the side past performances in the top-flight.
“Katsina United happened to be the lone survivors of the teams that debuted in the top-flight in the immediate past season and that say a lot of their pedigree.
“Firstly, our target will be to finish the first stanza of the coming season in the first 10 then we will be decisive on how to end the season,” he said.
