Kano Pillars skipper Gambo Mohammed has said that he opted to join Plateau United after he initially agreed a move to Rivers United because the Jos were more committed to sign him.
The Kano Pillars all-time leading scorer told SCORENigeria: “I joined Plateau United because they looked more serious than Rivers United who I had negotiated with.
“I am a player who believes football is all about commitment and motivation, and Plateau United seem to think so too and so I took the decision to join them instead of Rivers United.
“I was happy with my personal terms at Rivers United, but Plateau United offer is also attractive.
“I am going nowhere again, I am a player of Plateau United.”
