Hein rules out Onyekuru return to Everton

By Daily Sports on October 30, 2017

Anderlecht coach Hein Vanhaezebrouck has said he does not expect Henry Onyekuru to return to parent club Everton in January as there is no clause in his loan deal that allows for this.

Onyekuru has said he will be headed back to the Premier League club when the winter transfer window opens in January.

But the new Anderlecht coach has maintained that will not be the case.

“As far as I know, he has no clause in this contract (that will release him to return to Everton), he always plays and in every match he shows why he plays,” Vanhaezebrouck said.

Onyekuru has scored seven goals in all competitions for the Belgian champions thus far.

The coach said he is very satisfied with what Onyekuru has delivered.

“I am very pleased with Onyekuru even though there are times he does not do what we ask him to do,” he said.

“He has been very positive and has a lot of talent.”

He added that the Nigeria forward must purge his game of some elementary mistakes. (SCORENigeria)
