Why we didn’t terminate Enyeama’s contract- Lille

By Daily Sports on October 27, 2017

Lille chief executive Marc Ingla ‎has revealed the reason why former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama’s contract with Lille was not terminated despite being deemed surplus to requirements by new coach Marcelo Bielsa alongside ten others.

”I do not have a very specific answer. Vincent (Enyeama) has a very positive attitude. He is recovering from surgery he had in April on his kneel, he is back in training now and we will take it from there”, Ingla told France newspaper, L’equipe.

Enyeama ‎was part of the players Bielsa axed from his first team when he resumed as coach of the team in July.

While the other ten have terminated their contracts with the club by mutual understanding, Enyeama is back in training with the club after returning from a six months injury lay off following surgery on a meniscus injury he picked up towards the end of last season.
