Iheanacho’s Leicester City sucked into relegation battle

By Daily Sports on October 17, 2017

Former Premier League champions Leicester City are now sucked into relegation battle after they could only force a 1-1 draw at home with West Bromwich Albion.

Leicester City, club to Super Eagles’ Kelechi Iheanacho, Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi are now 18th on the table with six points from eight matches, two points from safety.

Iheanacho and Ndidi both started for ‘The Foxes’ in this Monday night fixture.

Ndidi, who suffered cramps leading up to this clash after international duty, went on to play the full game, while Iheanacho was withdrawn in the 62nd minute.

Fellow Nigeria star Ahmed Musa was again not listed for this match. He has yet to feature for Leicester in the league this season as he remains out of favour.
