Central defender Stephen Eze has been declared fit for tomorrow’s WAFU Cup final against hosts and defending champions Ghana.
Eze missed Thursday’s semi-final against Benin through illness.Assistant coach Imama Amapakabo said Eze will be available for selection now after he trained well and fully with the rest of the squad this evening in Takoradi.
“Eze is good for tomorrow. He did well in training,” Imama informed.
The giant defender could now reunite with FC Ifeanyiubah teammate Olamilekan Adeleye in the heart of the Eagles back four.
Tomorrow’s final will begin by 7pm Nigerian time in Cape Coast.
The champions will win a prize money of $100,000 with the runners-up getting half that sum. (SCORENigeria)
