Despite calls that Asamoah Gyan should hang his boots to give way for younger players, Gyan said he is not ready to give up on Ghana.
Gyan, 31, believes he still has a lot to offer despite showing signs of decline in recent times.
"The past three years have been very difficult, fitness-wise," Gyan told KweseESPN.
"I try to use my experience to do a lot of things. Somebody will say, 'he is done,' but I am not done. It is just the circumstances."
Boasting a record of 51 goals in 105 games for the Black Stars, Gyan has unmatched experience and it seems only fair that he decides when it's time to retire from national duty.
