Three players of FC Ifeanyiubah have been banned for 12 league games each after they allegedly attacked a referee during a recent league game.
The players are Ngoma Luamba, Elu Wilson and Isaac Loute.
Six of their teammates will also be suspended for 12 matches for their role during a crowd trouble in their match at Niger Tornadoes in Lokoja.
They are Stephen Eze, Adeleye Olamilekan, Michael Egbeta, Uchenna Godfrey Jnr, Douglas Nkrumah and Kone Soumaila.
Team officials Chidi Nwogu and Adrika Obiefuna banned for 19 matches each for assaulting match officials.
FC Ifeanyiubah were also fined various sums of money including a million Naira for pitch encroachment in Lokoja. (SCORENigeria)
