Nigeria U23 defender Stanley Amuzie has been shipped out on loan to Swiss club Lugano by Italian Serie A club Sampdoria.
Lugano will have the option to buy the left fullback on a permanent basis at the end of the season.
The 21-year-old defender has struggled for game time at Sampdoria since he joined them in the 2016/17 season from Portuguese club Olhanese.
Amuzie, who has been capped by the Super Eagles, suffered a major knee injury while in action for the Nigeria U23s, which kept him out of action for several months.
He loves to bomb forward to join the attack. (SCORENigeria)
