We won't return empty-handed - Rivers United's Udube alerts Enugu Rangers

By Daily Sports on July 30, 2017

Ahead of Sunday's clash, Rivers United assistant coach Willy Udube says his side will not return empty-handed after the showdown with Enugu Rangers.

Despite forced to a 1-1 draw against Akwa United, the Stanley Eguma's assistant admits his side were unfortunate to slip at home against the Promise Keepers.

"Nobody will like to play at home and loss [against a team like Akwa United]," Udube told media.

"We had hopes of getting the three points but unfortunately it did not work out. We lost the opportunity to win and have ourselves to blame for it."

What we are looking forward is for us to have a fair play where one [teams] can come to our home and win and we can go away and do the same if we play well.

"We only drew but did not lose all the three points. So, we are looking forward to moving forward that maybe some tomorrow something positive will come out."

We are looking forward to the game against Enugu Rangers. They are a good side but we will work hard to get a good result in Enugu. I'm confident we won't return empty handed."
