Niger Tornadoes' Andrew Ikefe has backed his side to put up a good display and upset Nasarawa United at the Lafia Township Stadium.
On the back of a 0-0 home draw against Abia Warriors, the defender is confident his side can replicate their form at Gombe United in Lafia on Sunday.
"We are disappointed not winning against Abia Warriors. We created many chances but failed to convert any of them," Ikefe told Goal.
"Though we really played well and dominated the match, it was not too good for us after we went to draw Gombe United away from home."
It is a big lesson for us and we must do everything within our strength to avoid a repeat of such incident in our remaining home matches.
"At the moment, we put the match behind us and we are focused on getting something in Lafia. It will be a very tough match as we know Nasarawa United are also fighting to secure a continental ticket.
"We believe that if Gombe United could a point in Lafia, then we can get something too. We just have to remain united and play like a team."
