David returns for El Kanemi Warriors clash after ban lift

By Daily Sports on July 23, 2017

The League Management Company has lifted its ban on Sunshine Stars ' Ariyo David and he will be available for El Kanemi Warriors clash on Sunday.

The league organisers clamped down heavily on the former Nigeria youth international for an unruly act in their 1-0 defeat against Plateau United in June.

With the Owena Whales fighting to avoid the relegation, the return of David will certainly give them a huge boost ahead of showdown with Ladan Bosso's men in Ijebu Ode.

"Good news for us: The @LMCNPFL has relaxed the 12 match ban slammed on our man Ariyo David after the goalkeeper served half of his suspension," the club announced via twitter.

"Ariyo is now available for selection provided he maintains good conduct for the remainder of the current season according to the @LMCNPFL."
